I❤️PDFStudio is a set of free tools for the two file types everyone deals with and nobody enjoys: PDFs and images. Merging a few documents, pulling pages out of a report, getting a photo under an upload limit — ordinary tasks that somehow always need a website.

The part that makes us different

Nearly every online PDF tool works the same way. You pick a file, it uploads to a server somewhere, something happens, and a download link comes back. That model asks you to hand a stranger your contract, your passport scan or your medical report and trust that it was deleted afterwards.

We do not do that. Every tool on this site is JavaScript running inside your own browser. Your file is read from your disk into your device’s memory, processed there, and written back out as a download. It never travels to us, because there is nothing here to receive it.

This is not a privacy promise buried in a policy page. It is a property of how the site is built. We cannot leak files we never receive.

What that means in practice

• Nothing is uploaded. Open your browser’s network tab while you use a tool and watch — no file leaves the page.
• It is usually faster. A 40 MB PDF takes minutes to upload on a home connection. Here it is done before an upload would have finished.
• It works when your connection does not. Once the page has loaded, the tools keep running even if you go offline.
• There are no limits. No file-per-hour cap, no forced wait, no watermark, no account, no upgrade prompt halfway through a job.

The honest trade-offs

Running in the browser is not free of downsides, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Very large files are limited by your device’s memory rather than by a server’s. A 500 MB scan will struggle on an older phone. Compressing a PDF works by re-rendering pages as images, which shrinks the file dramatically but makes the text no longer selectable. And a few operations that genuinely need heavy server software — full OCR, or converting a PDF back into an editable Word document — are not things we offer, because we will not quietly start uploading your files to do them.

Who runs this

I❤️PDFStudio is operated by Eversline LLC. There is no venture funding behind it, no data brokerage, and no plan to introduce one. If a tool is broken or you need something we do not have, the contact page reaches a real person.
